Coming Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at Noon (Eastern) is the latest America the Beautiful Quarters Three-Coin Set from the United States Mint.
This second one of the year and 17th overall features Perry’s Victory and International Peace Memorial in Ohio.
Packaged within this latest release are three Perry’s Victory quarters in qualities created for collectors. The three coins include:
- one uncirculated quarter from the Philadelphia Mint
- one uncirculated quarter from the Denver Mint
- one proof quarter from the San Francisco Mint
Each quarter has a ‘P’, ‘D’ or ‘S’ mint mark to show the U.S. Mint facility of origin. ‘P’ is for Philadelphia, ‘D’ is for Denver and ‘S’ is for San Francisco.
The three America the Beautiful Quarters are mounted on a plastic display card. The front of the card has a photo of Perry’s Victory and International Peace Memorial. The back of the card has summary information about the three coins and site, plus a Certificate of Authenticity.
America the Beautiful Quarters Three-Coin Sets have been issued since the first quarter honoring Hot Springs National Park launched in 2010. Packaging and prices have changed over the years. Since 2012, prices have been $9.95 each and the packaging has featured an image of the national site honored. Three-coin sets in 2010 and 2011 are $14.95 and the packaging is U.S. Mint-branded black and white.

Perry’s Victory ATB Quarter Designs
Appearing on the tails side of the coin is Don Everhart’s depiction of the statue of Master Commandant Oliver Hazard Perry with the Peace Memorial off in the distance. Inscriptions read PERRY’S VICTORY, OHIO, 2013 and E PLURIBUS UNUM.
As seen on all America the Beautiful Quarters, there is John Flanagan’s portrait of George Washington. Surrounding the president are inscriptions of UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, QUARTER DOLLAR and a mint mark denoting where the coin was produced.
Circulating-quality versions of the Perry’s Victory quarter were released in bags, rolls and boxes on April 1, 2013.
2013 ATB Three-Coin Sets
Previously released this year was the three-coin set with collectible White Mountain National Forest quarters. Forthcoming three-coin sets will have quarters depicting Great Basin National Park in Nevada, Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine in Maryland and Mount Rushmore National Memorial in South Dakota.
