2015 Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge Quarters become available on Wednesday, September 30, 2015.
Issued by the United States Mint, products with the fourth 2015-dated America the Beautiful Quarter include single rolls, two-roll sets and bags.
On the reverse (tails side) of each new quarter is a design emblematic of Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge, located in the state of Delaware. A great blue heron appears in the foreground with a great egret seen behind. United States Mint Artistic Infusion Program artist Joel Iskowitz created the design and United States Mint Sculptor-Engraver Phebe Hemphill engraved it.
Six products are offered for the Bombay Hook Quarter, and options including quarters from U.S. Mint facilities in Philadelphia, Denver and San Francisco. Of note, San Francisco quarters are only made for special collector releases such as these new rolls and bags. Philadelphia and Denver quarters are also issued for general circulation and will eventually appear in pocket change.
