This year’s America the Beautiful Quarters Uncirculated Coin Set debuts from the United States Mint on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at noon ET.
It is the fifth annual issue to include two uncirculated quality examples of the year’s America the Beautiful Quarters. Uncirculated coins are created with extra care, not handled by human hands and machine placed into special packaging.
Five of the 2014 quarters are from the U.S. Mint facility in Philadelphia and five are from the U.S. Mint facility in Denver. These are the two U.S. Mint plants that are also responsible for making all circulating coinage of the United States.
Held within the 2014 America the Beautiful Quarters Uncirculated Coin Set are:
- 2014 P & D Great Smoky Mountains National Park Quarters for Tennessee
- 2014 P & D Shenandoah National Park Quarters for Virginia
- 2014 P & D Arches National Park Quarters for Utah
- 2014 P & D Great Sand Dunes National Park Quarters for Colorado
- 2014 P & D Everglades National Park Quarters for Florida
The ten brilliant uncirculated coins of five unique reverse designs represent the 21st – 25th in the U.S. Mint program of America the Beautiful Quarters.
These uncirculated quarters are held within an illustrated folder that has a cover with photo of each of the national parks honored this Inside the folder there is information about the national parks, quarter specifications, and a Certificate of Authenticity.
Pricing and Ordering
Sets from 2010 and 2011 are $21.95. Since 2012, the U.S. Mint price has been much cheaper at $12.95 per set. The older and 2014 America the Beautiful Quarters Uncirculated Coin Sets may be ordered from the U.S. Mint’s website at www.usmint.gov/catalog or by calling 1-800-USA-MINT (872-6468).
