2014 America the Beautiful Quarters have reverse designs celebrating five different national parks — Great Smoky Mountains National Park in Tennessee, Shenandoah National Park in Virginia, Arches National Park in Utah, Great Sand Dunes National Park in Colorado and Everglades National Park in Florida.

Obverses of the quarters, like always, have the traditional portrait of George Washington as designed by John Flanagan.

To get to the point of this article, circulation release dates for this year’s America the Beautiful Quarters are:

  • January 27, 2014 for the Great Smoky Mountains National Park Quarter
  • March 31, 2014 for the Shenandoah National Park Quarter
  • June 9, 2014 for the Arches National Park Quarter
  • August 25, 2014 for the Great Sand Dunes National Park Quarter
  • November 3, 2014 for the Everglades National Park Quarter

These are the dates that the quarters will start to make their way into circulation and when the United States Mint will sell to the public rolls, two-roll sets and bags of the circulating-quality quarters produced at its plants in Philadelphia, Denver and San Francisco.

America the Beautiful Quarters debuted in 2010 and are scheduled to last until 2021. Reverses depict national United States sites. By the time the program ends, a national site will get honored in every state, the District of Columbia and the five U.S. territories.
